Default what other boltons?

ive decided i need more boltons before i go internal

best was an 11.88@112.41 (1.55) today

my mods are as follows:

FTRA, Lid, MAFT, FLP LTs, Cutout, Vig3200, Hals, STB, and stock 3.23s, skinnies. I had a little problem with the et streets, so i had to run on a nitto. im not sure of my raceweight- stock loaded plain TA with jack and spare as only reductions.

What other bolt ons can i do? First thing that comes to mind is a larger maf. Not really sure what else i can do. I dont want to guy the car, and i like the current converter/gear setup. I havent done the lockup switch or shift kit yet.

im thinking i should send out to get the TM removed, if ls1 edit doesnt come around any time soon for 01s.

i hear you can gain a lot by removing TM on 01+, and couple that with the lockup switch and ill have one flying car

any other ideas?

well...

what about the ASP pulley? how about a ported throttle body and LS6 MAF? get the lock up switch done. i gained .15 and 2mph in the 1/4 at our US41 rental. and i have the same convertor as you. also, do some weight removal. and the TM removal looks to be a good mod, but do you really want to do that ALONE as some programming? i mean you could get a whole dyno tune even with just your bolt ons and get some other codes removed. just thoughts right now. as far as running e.t. streets without the problem you had, i doubt you could do a lot better with your 60ft's than your doing now with the nittos. i'm impressed. all i can muster out of my car is 1.71's on e.t. streets. granted i don't have headers or anything for performance mods other than lid and exhaust. although i may be really wrong.

Chris

also, i know you said you like the gears, but they would help a bit and the use of e.t. streets will be needed more than likely with them. also, aren't your shifts really slow with the convertor and no shift kit? that mod is still on the fence i guess, but i have one and love it.

sweet, i forgot all about the pullies.

i did the TB bumpstop mod, i dont know if i want to swing for a larger TB right now, its kinda costly.

i have a HPP3- i raised the shift points with it. shifts arent too bad, but are kinda sloppy. i put shift firmness to 100% (lol) too. Doubt it helps much.

watching the videos i think i will benefit from the stickier tire because my hals were set to just about the softest settings- the car just leaned back big time on the launches, not a good thing.

for programming- i gotta figure out what else i want.

so- pace maf, sticky tires, programming, pullies, lockup switch, and a shift kit.

i like the 3.23s because its my daily driver, and the converter already drives me nuts on the expressway- through the stock exhaust at that!

i want to have the fastest stock internals NA LS1 F-body here . I plan on doing it with my current gear/converter setup, and minimun weight reduction, if any. it will be mine, oh yes, it will be mine
