$300 is the normal. You could decide a price and sell it on here in about 10 minutes.

If it's a BEEFY H/C 346 I can believe those, but not on a stocker.

Yeah. I got mine local from a guy that went with the FAST 90/90 on his 408.

There are people that camp the for sale section like a gamestop getting a shipment of PS3s. lol

I can't remember how many times I refreshed the For Sale section to see a new topic pop up about an LS6 intake, SLP LM, LS6 heads ect. and it would be a damn good deal. I would have money in hand only to beat by like 5 min. !

Its almost as bad as ebay! ******* snipers!

fast 90mm manifold with NW 90mm TB. you want performance you pay for it, not unless you know someone or find a good deal. you start taking shortcuts and cutting crap and your car turns out like crap. I have seen it one too many times... I might have paid for my fast 90mm setup w/nw tb and i'm only going STS turbo... but I know my intake isn't holding me back at all

I've been out of the loop for awhile, but is anyone making a 90mm aftermarket lid? I know TSP did for awhile, but I don't see how the 90/90 setup can be fully utilized and worth the money if you can't get a big enough lid to match it.

The ID of a stock lid neck is about 85mm or so, considering the stock MAF goes inside of it. You can run a regular sized lid, coupler, 85mm MAF, another coupler, and a 90mm TB.

I believe LG's lid was measured to be pretty big, do a quick search.

No love for the professional products Intake?

Thats the one I would go with right now. You can get them in satin finish for around 350$ and with the 85mm tb for another 200-250$ it made something like 10 or 15 whp more than the ls6 intake. The 96 mm TB hasent even come out yet.

BTW I talked to my ford buddy about professional products as a company and he said they make some quality products and they started off cheap to tap into the mustang market but once they established their name their prices went up so I hope to pick up an intake with the 96mm TB as soon as I get the $

Well from the single dyno I've seen it looks like the LS6 was right about even with the PP intake and then when the 85mm tb was added to the PP intake it deff made better numbers than the LS6 intake. Could I put the PP 85mm tb on the LS6 intake? Although this is a silly question I dont have either the PP intake the LS6 intake or the PP TB in hand to look them over.

i thought it wasnt possible b/c it is a one piece intake. people have ported the LS2 b/c its three piece like the FAST. there was a thread in the dyno section comparing a ported LS2 vs a unported/ported FAST 90. the FAST did better, but also costs alot more. havent heard much more about ported LS2's besides that thread. it seems like it is not proper to talk or ask about them or u get flamed and banned. i would really like to pick one up and see how it does, though.

EDIT: heres the LINK. i remember it not being a "true" test. too many things were changed or something. it wasnt like a controlled experiment or anything. but i remember it still having a good bit of valuable info. i think this would be a great alternative to the LS6 and FAST for H/C 346. maybe not good for the bigger cube guys. FAST is expensive especially after the porting. people say they should always be ported and not worth the money if they r not.

The Harrop 52mm ITB would be THE best, but not very practical at $5k.

i like the LS6 intake....hence the reason i own one...however like most guys stated....its all in what ur lookin for at the moment....if ur plannin on strokin the thing than the FAST is ur best route....but if ur going for simple boltons the LS6 will do just fine

Obviously. I'm just trying to help kill some of the myths that the FAST doesn't help unless you are stroked or whatever.

Hell, even the fastest bolt-on LS1 gained 2mph when switching to FAST from a ported TB and LS6. That even surprized me, I thought he'd gain nothing or lose a little. Why did I think that? Because of the numerous speculators on here.
