"Best" is a relative term when it comes to automotive performance.

What may be "the best" for one combination of parts and purpose may not be very good at all for another.

If you are running a mild H/C combo an LS6 inatke will provide acceptable performance at a reasonable price to most.

If you are planning on a more aggressive setup than a F.A.S.T may be the way to go for more power.

If you are looking for the ultimate power from a H/C set-up you may very well need to look into a fabricated (usually sheetmetal) intake or an I.T.B set up such as the one from Harrop.

The best thing you can do to insure that you are getting what is best for YOUR combination is to ask specific questions and include as much information as possible.

I believe that some of the most knowledgable car people on the internet frequent this site. If you ask the RIGHT questions you will get information from these people that will make your automotive modification experience far more enjoyable and productive.

Good luck!

Chad

I'd go LS6 unless you're stroking the motor. The FAST 90's price is just out there and will only make a few more ponies unless you've got some additional displacement in your future.

Ls6 for bolt ons and mild cam and heads.
fast 90 for the more aggressive cam and heads.
Sheetmetal for the way aggressive cam, heads, and stroked motors

Thats a way simple set of guidelines, in my humble opinion

I don't know. I think that I would get a FAST 90 and send it to Vengeance and have Ron port that sucker! Looks like they are making some serious power with those things!

For a heads/cam car Fast 90 is going to make the most power.

Yes the Fast 90 will make more power, but for less than half the price you can get the LS6 intake and have Possibly up to a grand left over compared to the fast. Now what could be done with a grand to make more than 10-15 horsepower...

depends on the cam if its radical or you have intentions of making alot of power then i would definatly go with the fast if not the ls6 is sufficient.. i like powershift's logic

Read post #18 of that thread.

Losing power with the FAST is unheard of. Some people have shown weak *** gains, but gains non-the-less.

^^^ This is right. ^^^

I run one in my cam only car, but I had the money and said why not.

I disagree ^^^^^

People with 346's have gained 25+ with ported 90/90's and 15+ with regular 90/90's over the LS6.
