Default Question about Smooth Bellow

Is There not a cheap easy way to get a smooth bellow without having to spent 50 dollars?

yes sir pretty much go to homedepot and buy some thick rubber tubbing heat it in water to make it flexable and install. I will look and see if i can find like a formal thread on it for you i know there are some around here

Lowes.....Fernco Smooth Bellows, 3X3 inch. Soak in hot water, trim the front and slap it on.

because it wont flex like the real smooth belows so the MAF sensor will move with it and crack it

It is indirectly connected to the lid and doesn't have a whole lot of flex, therefore the potential to crack is there. I've had it on mine for two years with no issues. Had it on my SS as well with no issues. Poly motor mounts help . Tainted is right though, it's a small gamble. Just do it.
