How much Shorter is a LS2 Water Pump ??

Can you fit a Shorter LS2 Water pump on a LS1 engine ??
Does this cause any problems, and how much shorter are they ???
I'm fitting it in a midengine car, and don't have much room....

Do you mean like SBC's and BBC's have long and short water pumps? Which part short/long?

Great so it will fit... Looks like it only sticks out alittle past the crank pulley...

LS2 pump has same dimensions, just a slight notch in the top for the manifold to clear I believe. The Meziere electric pump design had to be changed to accomodate for this.
