Default Under Axel Problems?

So I think I am going to switch to true duals under the axel and get rid of my Y-pipe setup.

Has anyone had any complaints with taking the exhaust out the back under the axel?

Are there any advantages going over besides some arguing that it looks better or slightly better ground clearance? I havn't heard a complaint from anyone that their rear section hits with under the axel though. And I kinda like the look, almost old-school muscle car...

Anyways let me know of your problems if you had any.

i live in huntsville and the roads are anything but straight. The town is just a bunch of hills pretty much and it kinda would scare me to go under the axle

Thanks for the advice, my current lowest points are my cats. I like the look of under because of the fewer turns for better flow.

The only problem I can think of is when you jack the car and place it on jack stands, then let the axle down (to change springs or something). Then wouldn't the axle hit the piping just below it? Ie, you wouldn't be able to let the axle down...

Yeah letting the axel down is not a major concern. I don't mind unbolting a few flanges to take care of that.

Just wondering if there were some major drawbacks. I think I am going to stick with this system.
