BMR "drag race" alt. mounting on 6.0 block?

BMR "drag race" alt. mounting on 6.0 block? I've got an HPE iron 408 and the car is gettig setup for drag racing (manual steering, no AC, electric water pump) and I want to use the BMR drag race alternator mounting kit. But, BMR's website says that kit can be used on early 6.0 iron blocks?
How can I tell if I have a 6.0 iron block that this kit will fit?
Do I have any other options?
