an idea ??? What would happen if you ran Longtube headers straight into 2 powerstick mufflers (2 per side)?? Would this be the same as running open headers or would there be any backpressure ?? This is probably a stupid question but just popped in my mind...Has anyone ever done this?

I don't think it would be a good choice, i would go ahead and get a true duals system vs. mufflers after the headers. I think you may have some problems with that since the muffler wouldn't really weld onto the back of the headers very well or even at all without leaking. Really just don't think you'de see any advantage vs. true duals - this is just my guess, anyone feel free to correct.

Hah not planning on running anything like that, was just curious to how it would act as far as flowing, sound, backpressure, and if it would have any gain or just be an obnoxious noise?
