might be a stupid question if i buy edelbrock headers and their y pipe then the loud mouth catback is that all i need to do the install, or woud i have to take it to an exhaust shop to have the loudmouth connected to the ypipe
in the pics of the loudmouth it doesnt look like it comes w/ long enough pipe to reach the ypipe

I installed my pacesetter long tubes, y pipe, & hooker cat back system all together and had all necessary pieces, but the crappy clamps leaked badly so I went ahead and had it welded.
You do realize that the loudmouth will sound like *** with the headers right? I don't know from personal experience but that's what nearly everyone here says. You might do a little research and decide on a different exhaust system. I ditched my flowmaster cat back system when I installed headers and went with the hooker system since it is reasonably quiet and flows quite well.
