Default Changing to SD with FAST 90

So I bought a FAST 90 LSX Intake and NW TB from a user on the board, and I'm going to go ahead and bolt it up to the car, even though it won't make a very big difference until I get it ported and get heads/cam.

But, I've been researching what I need to get to make this work. The intake is supposed to come complete as shipped from any dealer.

I can't find any 85mm lids, and it seems that they don't matter much anyway, so I'm just going to reuse my old TSP lid (unless you guys change my mind), remove my MAF, and use a 4.00" 3-ply Black Silicone coupler (hightempsilicone.com) to connect the lid to the TB. I also am ordering two 3.5-4.0" ID (fits from 3.56-4.50") Linear Stainless Clamps to hold it in place.

Is this correct? Is this all I need? Should I consider doing things any other way?

That's almost exactly what I did to mine, only with the stock LS6 intake and ported throttle body. I just run an SLP air lid with a 3" long, 4" diameter coupler from HTS...that coupler holds on to the lid on one side and on the other to a 4" diameter short length of aluminum pipe, and on the other side of the pipe is a 4" hump hose from HTS that connects the aluminum pipe to my throttle body.

I'm not sure I understand how you have that hooked up exactly, but will that 4" couple be all I need? I mean, will it be long enough and fit both ends? Or will I need one that is a "reducer"?

It'll need to be longer than their 3" length standard size...I'd guess it'd need to be 7-8" long total. You could probably get a longer piece and cut it down to size...
