Default TSP True Duals under axle pic

What do you guys think? Anyone else have any experience with extending these under the axle and out the back?

Thanks. I just looked at the picture and noticed it doesn't look like there's a lot of clearance, but there is actually a little over 4" (estimate).

Thanks for the compliments. I wanted to go over axle, but there just seemed to be too many issues for me (clearance, exhaust diameter, price vs. reward, etc). Looks like you have some badass exhaust though. H-pipe over axle! I bet that sounds absolutely beastly.

Wow looks real good, i was considering doing the same thing. I am currently running open headers but i have a 3" x-pipe with sweet thunders dumped at the rear end sitting in the garage. Now that i see this i think i am going ot put them back on to continue it out the back. Mind if i ask what was the price to go below the rear end like that?

That work cost me $150. That included getting the fit of the X up tighter, extending it out the back, AND chopping up those tips to work how I wanted (they only had like a 2 1/2" inlet, and my exhaust is 3"... didn't want the restriction).

Seemed like a damn good deal to me.

That looks sweet! Did you flange the pipe so you can connect/disconnect when you need to (it kinda looks like it from the pics). Does it sound much different (compared to dumps)?

Yes, it's easy to disconnect the exhaust. I used clamps on the pipes instead of flages though, because a couple inches of ground clearance can be lost with flanges. I am out of the country right now, so I can't personally comment on the sound, but my friend who is taking care of it for me said it's much quieter inside the car.

Looks awesome, do you have any pics from the side, to show the ground clearance?

I saw a T/A on I20 the other day with under the axle duals. Might have been you.

Speed bumps aren't much of a problem cause the tires pick the car up and over the bump before the exhaust hits. I had dumps for the longest time and just recently ran them under the axle and out the back and the only thing I've scraped so far are the tips.
