lid + cold air kit
lid + cold air kit Sorry if this topic has been discussed but i didn't know where to begin searching for it.
i have a 99 z28 and bought an SS hood. Anyway, the hood came with a cold air induction kit. I haven't installed it yet but i was looking to get a lid too. I wanna make sure that everything will work well together. I was also hoping to get a lid that wont rub on the aftermarket SS hood. After looking at a lot of threads, it seems like the slp lids rub often on the aftermarket SS hoods and the MTI clear lid seems like a better option so that it doesnt rub. id rather a lid that wasn't clear but from the rubbing pics i've seen, i think id rather go clear then the rub look.
Is that somethin that sounds correct? or am i missing something that i should keep in mind
