On streetcars, a vacuum pump is highly effective and certainly, you make more power. However, there is minor, routine service maintenance that needs be adhered to in order to make these systems “daily driver friendly”.

Since vacuum pumps also reduce drastically the amount of “blow by” many end users use them to stop/reduce excessive oil consumption issues. However, using a pump to control "blow by" is generally not a good choice - addressing the root cause of the oil consumption is the long term cure

Oh I know, I just asked more for sarcastic reasons because the other guy didn't really know what he was talking about. BTW, the vaccum pump setup shown in post #1 will work on f bods.

well do one then report back they are not daily driver friendly. We will see who knows what.
