Default Looking for some feedack..Heads or Intake

Afternoon fellas,

I am looking to up the anty on my Z and am stuck between the two.

What are your thoughts? Which should I go with first... heads or an intake. Mods are listed in the sig. My graph is buried deep in the Dyno forum.

I have $2800.00 cash in hand. I already know I am gonna go with the FAST 90/90 and have a few different heads in mind.

This is like the old saying...which came first the chicken or the egg.... only in my case which to buy first.... the heads or the intake.

Your thoughts?

From what I have read on here you really don't benefit from the fast 90/90 till you have a good set of heads. So I would buy a good pair of heads, and when your ready buy the 90/90.

I'm with 2001. FAST 90/90 won't gain you much untill you have H/C, heads are just getting too cheap these days.

I agree, guys.

I am gonna give TSP a call after Christmas to discuss options. I like the PRC 5.3's, but I wanna get their feedback first.

You guys feel free to chime in on heads that you like, too.

Roastem...

Nice numbers with the T2. I have the PRC LS6's on my list as well. Which gaskets are you using and did you have your heads milled?

I would love to, but the budget does not support that at the moment. I am not necessarily looking to drop the entire $2800.

I had to waste $279,500 on a house and we close in March (new construction), so this extra money is a priviledge.

I'd like a nice solid 11 sec car.... on the motor. I figure I have a long way to go.

Do you guys ever go out to Bass Pro on Saturdays?
