i got the slp one....i didnt see a big diff in track time but i didnt have a lid when i did it so it kinda defeated the purpose. still looking for a lid if someone wants to sell me one hahaha

stock i went 13.6@105
did 13.5@106 w/ LM, CAI,and smooth bellows (w/out the lid, i think the cai was kinda pointless)

^^if you add the bottom part of the SSRA to your SLP CAI then it WILL NOT be pointless....

Yeah, I think it can be done, but I would rather just buy it from somewhere to ensure perfect fit...

Al Austin, aka ss1le02, was selling it last year for $129. It's basically the SSRA without the scoop. I'm assuming that the regular SSRA will get you even more gains since it has the scoop, but I didn't go for it since the scoop will increase the chance of hydro-lock and will be damaged if I accidentally park over a curb.

I think it happens when water gets inside the engine and damages it.

The BGRA is probably the best ram air system for the WS6, but I dont think its compatible for the SS. Speed inc. doesnt sell the system anymore, just the rain blocker option and 2 other things. If your able to find one, then Id say pick it up, but Ive been looking for awhile and havnt had any luck.

Here i pulled this off of speeds web site

BGRA <----- on the top right enter you make of car along with year, then hit enter and scroll to induction.. About 3/4 of the page down is the BGRA mod... So they still sell it

I saw that. Look at the table underneath the picture and description. The very first row states " Brian Green Ram Air System" and to the right under the "buy" column it has N/A. The system itself is no longer manufactured or sold, only parts such as the rain blocker option, nostril corner option, and replacement gasket.
