Its a gain you may not see on the dyno but you will see it at the track, just watch for water. You dont want to suck it in.

Its not really a gain that would show up on a dyno, but it will help out a little bit at the drag strip, I say go for it!! the SSRA is my favorite!

I havent tested it, but I have heard about 1-2 tenths....but to do that your gona need either the SSRA (like I have) or the FTRA, I believe the SSRA is the BEST ram air available for Camaros

I'm happy with the FTRA.

it really does make a difference with a lid/cai that really beats stock, thats for sure.

^^yep, definently beats stock, but like he said, you also need a lid and maybe Ported tb to get the full ram air effect

I am getting a SLP Flow Pac and it comes with the Lid, Below, K&N filter and the sheet metal duct and It goes directly beneath the lid. I would feel safer if it was there, then directly under the dam. But I guess it should be fine since it isnt a direct connection

I have a WHISPER Motorsports basically same as SLP and FTRA. I have mine modified to a ram air (AKA) big gulp mod.

Either that one above called "whisper" (I dont know where the hell you would get that) or the SSRA which can be bought at lmperformance.com....I believe they are the BEST ram air kits for camaros....just go for it

Stick with the SSRA or FTRA. Either of the plus a lid and ported TB are going to be the best bet. The flopack is overpriced and some members here who have purchased it wish they would have gone a different route. the K&N and Smooth bellows are going to net no power. The bellow looks cleaner but can make lid fitment hard. SSRA or FTRA just my .02

Go with either the FTRA or SSRA. I have the FTRA and went from a 13.24 @ 105mph to a 13.17 @ 106mph on a hotter day. So I think its definately worth doing.

Check out this post:

'02 A4 Z28 w/PTB dynoes@298...after SLP lid, dynoes@303...after SSRA2, dynoes@318!

The SSRA2, the SSRA without the long under-bumper scoop, gave me an additional 15 RWHP with a fan blowing against the car on a dynamometer. So, it's a no-brainer to install any type of underhood cold air induction.
