No problems. Its easier to get on and off now. I made the inner diameter bigger by dremeling out some of the rubber to get it to fit better.

if you have solid motor mounts you dont have to worry about the motor moving around and cracking your lid

The smooth bellows is an appearance mod at best. Not worth the potential lid damage and fitup problems IMO.

It works great! Its called the Home Depot catch can.
If you look to the left of the can, I still have the PCV valve on.

At first I thought you were talking about it going to the lid...that would be retarded!

+1 for the fernco. Great for nitrous plumbing in my setup too! Looks good. Probably worth the $14, but not worth eht 50.

i hear all this talk of muffler bearings ... but if your gonna do mods u shud do um right, you should really get some good quality headlight fluid..and while ur at the autoparts store pick up a tube of elbow grease..

smooth bellows is deff. an appearence mod more then a performance mod...

I have a similar one that comes with the PACE 85mm MAF sensor (although I still have the stock one behind that), but I would be worried about running a hard rubber transition if you didn't have poly motor mounts (to prevent the motor shaking from ruining the lid). But getting one from Home Depot is wise because of the actual cost.

That's what the poly motor mounts are for.
