Default PTM90mm VS NW90mm

Just curious if anyone had problems w/ the PTM 90mm? Any huge difference between the 2 as of performance wise.

I'm curious about this too, TSP sells the PTM 90 as a package with the FAST 90 intake at a really good price but I don't know of anybody using the PTM.

i have a PTM & a NW. honestly there isn't enough difference in the two to ever notice. the PTM's fresh air vent on the drivers side is straight vs. the NW's is angled up a little. the PTM wasn't polished, i polished it myself and it looks just like the NW.

both very good items in my book

Had a customer who got a PTM 90mm TB and it was overported to the point of where the blade was fully closed with the set screw and the IAC motor completely closed itself and the RPMs couldn't drop down to the set idle rpm. He exchanged it for a 2nd one and it was the same issue again. Went to a NW and all was good.

I got a friend who has a high 10 sec car, runs NW with no issues looks mint with a lil polishing. I would get it if my combo goes up in a big way.

Both throttle bodies are very nice!

The very first run (about ten of them)of PTM throttle bodies had some air getting past the throttle blades. This issue caused a few people to have the high idle issue. The new run of PTM throttle bodies nolonger have this issue & even ship with a pimp looking brass blade! I've shipped tons of the all new PTM throttle bodies with absolutely no issues at all!

I think you'll be very happy with either throttle body!

You know you have sickness when you buy a TB for your car based on what the throttle blade looks like
