Pantyhose is a great mod! I used pink pantyhose and it netted me aproximately 27.01746 extra ponies. I'll have to try it with the k&n next time. What color did you use?

I probably wouldnt waste my $$$ on a K&N but both of my LS1 F-bodies had them on when I purchased the car. Delco or Fram Air Filters for me!!

OK for all you wise asses that think you know so much f*ck off, I started this thread just for some friendly input i did not want to get into any arguments. And for those of you that dont think a K&N flows better your idiots, walk into any auto parts store with one of those little displays that has a traditional paper filter and a K&N with the little ping pong ball, with the paper one it sits at the bottom of the tube and with the K&N it flys up to the top, not to mention you can see daylight through a K&N but not through a paper filter, hmmmm I wonder which one flows better. And sure maybe all the aftermarket lids flow the same but I didnt know and that why I came and asked a question not coming in here and telling you which one was better than the next. Some of you had fitment problems and your input was helpful, for the rest of you, your all narcissistic ********. Thanks and goodbye.

Its all been said, I just wanted to vouch for Whisper. I have had no probs and had it for 3 years. Its been sanded, stripped painted and cleared like 10 times. Keep changing my mind on color schemes. HEHE. But have had no fitment probs with whisper at all.

Those K&N ping pong ball display are great! Except try tossing a dirty K&N in there and see what it flows like. Probably like ****. I am on the band wagon with the paper filters. I will replace mine monthly, always clean, always flows well. I throw in my clean Blue Holley powershot for the track and weekend romps. When that gets dirty, it goes in the trash.

WHsiper looks cheesy the way LS1 sticker is on it and to top it off its red and mine didn't fit to good. On my 99 B4C I have a RK SPORT lid and on my 01 SS I have SLP. I like them both
