Default TB bypass/ Water temp. sending unit install

I was going through some pics and found the one of my TB bypass and Autometer water temp. sending unit install that I did. It was easy and cheap to do. You just need a 3/8" brass "T" fitting, and a couple of 3/8 barbed fittings for the coolant hoses. I used a self tapping screw with liquid teflon on the back side to attach my ground wire.

do you neccesarily have to use the self tapping screw for the ground, or can you ground the gauge anywhere?

Thanks buddy

You have to ground the sending unit for the gauge to work. That was the only way I could think of doing it with the sending unit in the adapter.

tried the pass. side head. my header flange went to far over, so i just spilled a shitload of coolant all over the place. if you have headers, check to see if there is enough room to screw the adapter into place. so, i'll be trying the tee fitting tomorrow. just wanted to put that out there, my loss might save you a couple of hours.
