Of course it would reduce mileage, DFCO cuts fuel off on decel when you are in gear.

only car i have ever seen it on was a 600AWHP evo. We raced through second and he shot a small blue flame when he left off and the pipe kinda simmered for a second and then went out. I just figure its because the injectors are just dumping some much fuel in those turbo motors and the downpipe/turbo gets so hot it just ignited all the extra when he let off. Oh yeah needless to say i lost that one, he got about 4 on me in 2nd gear lol, i just had to make sure he wasnt bsing about how fast his car was.

I ain't worried about it, I don't give a **** either way I just wanted to see if anyone else had noticed it or had someone else tell them if their car did it. I think its cool but to each their own I wouldn't modify a car with making it shoot flames my goal but if it happens as a side effect from changing parts that make it go faster too then I think its cool.

Turbo with a 2 foot pipe should yield those results.

I light my **** up night with the open lt's it must look awesome seeing the flash shoot out under the car. Best part of rolling open headers is creeping through the parking lot setting off car alarms.

Mine does it on a 2-3 and 3-4 shift. I get an awesome crackling sound on decel, and shoots a small flame on occasion. True duals dumped at axel with mid-length headers.
Rich tune, and small cam

Just give yourself a slightly rich AFR and a tiny hole in the exhaust and it will shoot flames all the time!

What a tool btw!

Your car shoots flames becasue your lighting off some unburnt feul, I see this happen with alot of POWER shifting, and high rpm or High RPM DOWN SHIFTs and you can get flames when you have No Cats"....

my ws6 pops every time I power shift, I've been told that they can see flames shootout, day/night. 231/237 .589/.595 112. I'm running m6, kooks lt, 16" bullets, x-pipes dumped. true duals buddy. I love when I'm creeping around parking lots and alarms r going off, hell sometimes it even happens at stop lights when cars r parked closed to the street.
