Default TB bypass question

so most guys just link the tube comming off the heads to the line going into the radiator... is there any reason why you couldnt just plug both those lines?

i did it like this, i just wanted to make sure that there isnt something im overlooking here....

There has been some discussion on this a few times....people come down generally in two camps.

1. Sure...it wont make a difference..
2. There's a reason the engineers wanted fluid to refreshed

Im someone with little or no knowledge about the subject..but for the price of a short piece of tube....Im in the second camp

I think if u live were it gets realy cold "snow/freeze" like temps then leave it. it'l keep it warm but, if u live down south were temp is no much a factor then incomming air wont get hot from T/B I did a temp dif with lines hooked and with out. if I remember it was about 35 deg dif on T/B. probably not enough to feel but, I'm convinced cooler inlet air helps 1 or 2 hp gains, if any.

It really picks up alot when you put ice on your motors in the lanes at the track.

I gained like .5 second like that.

I used a fitting to connect the hoses together. I thought each hose was a different size you couldn't just run one hose from one side to the other. How are yall doing this?
