some people are just haters, mine went in with out a hitch, hell the LTs have more clearence from the starter then the manifolds did. I also had to cut off the tab, but like you said, it takes 10 second to cut it off...I love these headers and regret nothing about um. Great Quality product for a incrediable price.

so the y-pipe is stainless?

i hate that y-pipe just for the Y-section... looks ******* TERRIBLE...

I'm getting a custom fabbed Y instead

If going custom fabbed..you should just go ahead and custom fab a dual X setup.

and be like everybody else?

nah.

I like Y-pipe exhausts, and have no reason to go duals... plus I just bought a GMMG and my personal preference is that. I've heard duals, and I've seen duals, and I just don't like them.

odd as it may seem, a properly done Y can flow very well, contrary to popular belief.

I'm glad to hear your install went smooth and you did an awesome job taking plenty of pics! Just be careful with the PB Blaster...it causes everything to rust if left on too long!

Cool man! After me helping your *** through here so much, I'm glad to see its done and you like it. Everything I told ya worked out great....including the Jet-Hot ORY that I was the first to try!!!!!!!

Oh yea, a lil update on mine. I never even retorque my bolts, but they reuse to leak because the GM gaskets rock! The ONLY bad thing I have to say about these headers is that my damn EGR tube broke off. The weld didn't fail, it was the tubing right by the weld. Needless to say, I had to pull that header and get it tig welded closed. The performance shop that did it said they look like great headers. Some of the guys thought they were the expensive ones! HA

it seems like they are but im fine with my upward angle it gives me a bit more clearance. I gotta get that drivebye clip still but we've almsot got the fender to stay over so I can get the bumper on it. hopefully I can make that happen over the weekend so I can get a drivebye on a road and not just in the yard
