SLP power package
Does anyone know whether or not if the SLP 350hp Power Pac really gives 350hp? Just wondering because I would like to purchase it and really tell a difference in my car's performance!

actually yes it does.... not rwhp though..
there was actually an article about this in a pontiac mag. last month i think...
just make sure you get the most out of your money..
you can do the free ram air mod, fernco mod, and use a paper filter and save yourself alot of money and have identical hp numbers...
just search and u will find endless info on all of these...
slp is good but they are overpriced and not always the best

Some LT's would help!! Seems like everybody (me too) have been getting the Pacesetter LT's for their car. Yeah, if its an auto, a higher stall Torque converter can be had for $500+ new from a few vendors and other sites!!

Also, not to be a pest, the mechanic im going to says he can get me all that done for under 1600 labor included, the tuner im going to get is the slp handheld.........fair?

if ur gonna run a stall i dont suggest 3.73's, 3.42's would be more practical since u will have better MPG then the 3.73's.. plus you will be able to keep the rpm's lower at highspeeds, and traction will be a huge problem if u run both a stall and gears (plus reak all sorts of hell on your rear...if u decide no stall then 3.73s would be a good gear like TAINTED said
do u know what gears u have now??
ok.. to stay on topic Longtube headers ory and catback will cost u a little less then a grand if u do the work yourself.... (keep in mind ur gonna need o2 extensions or corvette rear o2's (bosch 13111's).. new plug wires and you would be foolish not to change ur plugs while ur there...)

no idea
I have no idea what gears i have now...and honestly i wouldn't feel comfortable installing my Lt's. Catback yes, Lt's uh no. I would like to get a stall and gears but buying the stall is like you guys said 500 at the least. Gears around 200.00 plus the install kit that is recommended 130.00 est. Now getting all that plus labor is going to put me over my 1000.00. Not trying to sound vulva spanked but my wife would **** her pants if i went over 1000.00 right now!

i was given ya credit
ya the slp handheld is the diablosport II, which is one of the best handhelds, but wont give u what u want... a mailtune is good and cheap, but not as good as a street tune or dyno tune, but they are not cheap though..

easy way to tell what gears u have... on the door sticker it will either have a GU2 code (2.73's) or GU5 code (3.23's)
if your sticker is gone or faded you can tell by driving on the interstate.. make sure your cars in OD.. when ur cruisin @2000 rpm are u going 80 mph?? if so u have 2.73's...
if ur doin just shy of 70 mph you have 3.23's
