Default Damn too loud!

Alright so I need to get a nice cat back exhaust for my car, got a T-rex in it, 4400 stall, true duals with bullets on and theres just no way I can get around with that on the street. I trie, because I love the car the way it is, but COPS don't love it, along with some of the people living in my neighborhood.
So what I need is to buy or make my own exhaust which won't cut on the performance too much, maybe even add some more hp from the one I got, but main thing is to bring the tone down at least %30.
Thanks fellas

dude he just said he has duals with bullet mufflers, proably dynomax or something like that. It is loud I have the same setup, no cats. LOVE IT! Probably you best bet would to be to listen to some sound clips of cat backs you like, then install a cutout for the power increase over the cat back.

switch to spiral flows and you will cut noise by 30% , promise. I used to run bullets off my headers and now run spiral flows.... much quieter and more refined sound.

Here's my catback with an MS4, which I think is pretty close to the TREX specs. This may be more of a "what-not-to-get" post. It would probably sound a lot tamer with a bullet or cats though.

Set up is 3" X-pipe, 2x12 inch dynomax bullets.
Love the damn sounds, I just CAN'T drive it like this, people give me hard time, calling COPS on me etc. Ridiculous.
Well Dual-Dual Set-up is lots of money dude.
I just need some decent sounding exhaust for the street. I will be swaping it every time I go to the track, or some carshows. So nothing too expensive, but still to perform good and sound nice.
How about that Mufflex 4 inch single pipe exhaust ?

I would not recommend the Mufflex...at least not with the Spintech muffler. It may sound good, but you will be sacrificing a lot of power.

If you want to keep the duals, I would recommend Magnaflow bullets, or the pricier Borla XR-1 bullets. Both will cut sound quite a bit. I would recommend the XR-1s as they sound better, and will also be quieter at cruise/idle. Definitely should be acceptable with the neighbors over dynomax bullets.

If you are interested in either, shoot me a PM for prices.

i like the hooker catback alot.i only dropped 6 rwhp and 10 ftlbs through the catback compared to an open cutout.
