Pinned ATI super damper on NA app... do I still need to use superhuman torque value?
I installed my new ATI super damer and pinned in to the crank. Do I still need to follow the GM procedure of:
1. Old bolt to 240 ft/lbs
2. New bolt to 37 ft/lbs
3. 140 degrees to stretch
Or... since the pin will stop the pulley from spinning backwards or being affected by the stresses of the accessories on a purely interference fit... can I simply use a new bolt and torque it to 150 ft/lbs or so?

I went with this balancer because it is the best at doing what it's supposed to do... dampen crankshaft harmonics. I track the car (HPDEs) and wanted a good part here as the car sees RPM offten.
I went ahead and pinned it because the ATI comes w/ a keyway and it was easy.
I followed the GM spec... also easy... take big rachet then take upper 1/2 of low profile jack and you've got the perfect tool. Old bolt to 240, then 37 ft/lbs and 140 stretch
