so its fixed? Coolant temp sensor? God my buddy at work suggested that to some guy and I laughed after we sold him the part. I guess a lot of people are careless and break them when doing work on the car?

well.. if it isn't a cracked plug... are you sure you snapped on the wires on the plugs and coils all the way?

I have seen someone bend the inside of the coil pack plug! pull the plug out and see if any of the plugs are bent on the inside!

Alright bitches I got the codes!

P0118 Engine Coolant Temperature [ECT] Sensor Circuit High Voltage
P0131 HO2S Circuit Low Voltage Bank 1 Sensor 1
P0300 Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected
P0353 Ignition Coil C Primary/Secondary Circuit
P0357 Ignition Coil G Primary/Secondary Circuit
P0405 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor A Circuit Low
P0412 Secondary Air Injection Switching Valve A Circuit
P0418 Secondary Air Injection System Relay A Circuit
P0351 Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit
P0355 Ignition Coil E Primary/Secondary Circuit

Alright so we can rule out AIR, EGR, Coil pack codes (I assume it's from unplugging my drivers coil's). So do you guys think a new coolant temp sensor will fix my problem?

mine was a tiny whole in a spark plug wire. there was still spark at the coil and plug. had to hook it up to a tech ii....and then let a drivability tech work on it.

Anyone think I could have gotten a bad O2 from Vatozone? Worth a try?

Sorry, I didn't get back here for a few days...

Grounds:
RHS of block near dipstick tube.
LHS of block near alternator.
LHS head rear (also holds bracket for AIR valve)
LHS + RHS fenders
LHS + RHS radiator support

I've experienced brand new parts being faulty.

Did you ohm your plug wires, and do they all look good...?

Bad wire. Sorry for the crappy redundant advice, but I'm stumped. Did you leave anything unplugged? It's got to be a problem with spark. Drop any of the coils during the install?

right now my car is throwing a few codes sorry I can't be specific but they are.
A couple bank 1 O2 codes, All the coil packs on the drivers side are throwing malfunction codes and a coolant temp sensor high circuit...

SO... I exchanged my new O2 sensor for my drivers side(it was covered in carbon and wreaked of fuel so I'm guessing it got fouled out). and I'm getting a new coolant temp sensor AGAIN tomorrow. I checked the grounds and they seem alright.

alright, I'm fed up with my car! I've replaced the coolant temp sensor twice and it's not throwing anymore codes now. I replaced my drivers O2 sensor and delete the code and it's not coming back. BUT! my car is still backfiring like crazy! I checked my drivers side coil with the oldschool method of spark plug + ground point and I have spark on my coils.

Are you sure the cam position sensor didn't get broke? You may want to try to disconnect the MAF and see if it idles any better. Something isn't adding up.

I wish you were close. I'd come dig around and see what we could find.
