I used one of those, but just replaced it this week with a Mike Norris can. The worst thing about the home depot one was emptying it every two days.

Yours was the first one I've seen that had that set-up on it. Every other one I've ever seen on here had a billet piece. Anyway, not my taste. I'll spend a few bucks more and leave my air compressor intact.

Here is what I run. http://www.teglerizer.com/triumphstu...scavenging.htm

Most LS1's don't do this. It involves ruining your header if you ever planned to sell them.

How well do those work at low rpm? I've always heard you have to run high rpms for those to work efficiently.

Works fine for me! I haven't even had any residue on the tail pipe yet! But also, when you are running High RPMS, that is when the catch can is working. Basically the same horse just different color.

You still need to remove or T the line from the valve cover to throttle body into the line that goes to the catch can. I would just cap off the nipple on the throttle body, because you will still get oil in the intake.

Nobody was hating, just stating the obvious and speaking from experience. These will catch oil but only about 2 days worth, and then the level of oil will not change since it is not a big enough container, and the oil circulating from the vacum will go back into the stream to the intake. It works, but you have to empty it every other day. I know because i ran this setup before i got my AMW.(which that even needs to emptied out regularly)

That should help some without a doubt. Just check it everyday and you'll see what i mean, the level of oil in the containers won't change. Your setup will obviously hold more than a setup with one. My point is that they are so small that after a day or so it can't hold anymore and it gets sucked through. You have two so thats still only a couple of days. Like i said they definately work, just have to be emptied quite often. Not trying to put down what you did by any means, just trying to share what i have already gone through.
