It's not that they fill up, it's not even possible for that container to become an 8th of the way filled. The vacuum pulls the oil out as is it circulates around the inside of the container, so it can only hold so much before it starts to get sucked out again. That's why after a couple days the amount of oil in them won't change because they can't hold anymore. Either way you look at it though you'll burn less oil since the oil in the container is oil not burned.

I dont know how you would fill those up in 2 days. Mines similar to that and mine fills up about every 5,000 miles....

I run an AMW which has rings within it for the oil to circulate in(this way it doesn't just swirl around the walls and reach the top to get sucked through), and Plucas if you read my post, they don't fill up, they can't.

I don't see how thats possible with such a small canister. I think some pcv's may also just pull more oil then others depending on the car.

not true, this is a pic of mine after about 500 miles of driving.

you can clearly see the can is about 1/3 full. this was the first time i emptyed it too. the 2nd time i let it go even longer and it was honestly almost halfway filled. and unless you drive 200 miles a day i dont see how you can say you need to empty it every 2 days. most people on here have these cars as weekend drivers, or dd's without hour long commutes each way. i'd say for the average person on here, emptying them once or twice a month will suffice.
