Low idle at startup

Low idle at startup With the mods i have, both with and without a tune, the car will idle extremely low on startup and even die on occaison. It idles up fine after a little bit. Anyone got any ideas?

Search for vacuum leaks. They will do all kinds of messed up things to your idle. Depending on the size and location of the leak, they can cause either a high or a low idle condition.
I'd check the intake and TB areas for leaks as my first step.

3 things to look at.
1. vaccuum leaks
2. Idle Air Control motor (IAC)
3. Throttle Position Sensor (TPS)
put a multimeter on the IAC and TPS and make sure they are recieving and putting out voltage. Or if you want to throw parts at it I think they are $40 or less each at Vatozone.

For some reason also before the car is warm there is a rattle that almost sounds like the back of the motor or intake, but stops when it warms up and only does it at certain rpms. Almost like where the PCV is...
