Default slp flow pac

looking into buying this for my Z

http://www.slponline.com/view_produc...47&BIG=21047-1

my concern is the low cold air inlet will pick up water due to its location.

has anyone installed this setup??

is just the air lid and bellows and filter enough? or does the cold air induction kit add that much??

thanks
tony

The SLP CAI is not low, if anything it's too short (but
still hugs the radiator enough to absorb a whole lot of
heat, and pass it along to the IAT sensor to dog you
later).

Buy only what works, and save a -whole- lot of money
over this "Pac".

I have the entire slp intake on my car with an aftermarket airfilter. I've driven in rain and had no problems. Easy to install and works well.

bellows=worthless CAI= junk get the SSRA if you want a good CAI kit. the only thing worth a **** in that over priced thing is the lid

I have the flow pac, I like it. (came with the car)

However, for the money ... just pick up a lid and be done with it.

I have the flo pack, and I have the baffles taken out of my hood. If I could do it again knowing what I know now, I'd go with the Volante
