-IMO headers before the intake.
-The slp will not work as its made for stock manifolds.
-Search around the sponsers websites, they often have sales.

first a little info on the car. its a pre 01 but what about tranny? is it a4 or m6?
if its an auto a stall converter would be a very good first mod.

I dont want a stall know because I know that would give me terrible traction and if i get traction I dont want to break my rear end and trans so early. I was planning the stall I while back since i already bought a transmission cooler but never got to it.

you cant beat speeds inc prices......they also price match
the stall would be the best mod out of those if you got the means.

By the way my 60 ft times are 1.8 I dont think right know a stall could improve this by all the tire spin, would pacesetter give me good horsepower without losing low end torque on a stock cam?

yes,... alot of times people think that when they install longtubes it feels like they've lost some low end torque, but in reality they've gained alittle, but they gain so much in the higher RPMs that the small gain down low feels like a loss... does that make any sense?

yeah that makes sense 2000T/A WS6, so whats a good cheap y-pipe for the pacesetter headers. By the way i have gutted cats, so It dont matter about having the cats with the y-pipe.

One more question, would it be better to get the race version since i already have gutted cats, or could be better to get the other header with all the hook ups, if i get the off road header what would i need to get rid off , or what would I need to block off. Basically what header is better to work with.

I got a great deal on my headers from texas speed along with their catted y (they have a offroad y for pretty cheap though). I got the race headers, its not hard at all to remove the AIR and EGR. read through the sticky in this forum and theres a good writeup in there on how to get e verything out, the only thing you have to block off is the egr port on the top of the intake manifold. I was very happy with the sound and the power after I put my headers on.

LTs, then stall, then cam+LS6....IMO... You can get coated pacesetters shipped for around $400, throw either some duals or an ory

You can do either first, but headers are going to give you more of a gain. Adding an ls6 intake after that will gain even more than addiing an ls6 intake first, because of the combination. Anytime you open up the breathing of a corked up engine you are going to increase the performance, a proportionate amount. I would do headers, duals, ls6 intake, ported stock tb, lid, and call it a day. Get an asp pulley if you feel like it. With all the boltons you should be at or around 350 rwhp.

I went with headers first. Then, I purchased the LS6 intake afterwards. You'll obviously get better gains with the headers, so I went with headers first.

Gains with duals over your borla with a cutout would be minimal, maybe 5 rwhp or so. I say save the hundreds you would spend on the duals and get the ls6 intake you want as that will net you more power than getting duals would. In addition I def think that LT's should be done first over the ls6 intake manifold as the LT's will net you more power and you cant beat the sound of a LT/ORY/Borla/cutout combo.
