You put all 5 bolts in the TB to attach to the intake? On mine, the top bolt was too short.

Make sure the IAC motor (top driver side sensor on the throttle body) has the O-ring. It's easy to forget to install it (gets stuck in old throttle body) and can cause an idle surge. When you take it out, clean the IAC plunger and re-install.

Drive the car around a bit and it might figure the idle out. It takes the car awhile to "relearn".

Also, that sensor in the back (been awhile and forgot the name of it) if its loose, youll get a vacum leak. I made a little "L" bracket to keep pressure down for a good seal.

LOL, I feel like an idiot for forgetting the name of it.. lol

I used a long threaded bolt (kind of like the ones that are used to screw the TB to the intake) and sandwiched a piece of metal (between two nuts) branching out to hold the MAP sensor down on the intake to give it some down presure to keep it sealed better.
A buddy of mine told me to do this before hand.. Its alot easier with the intake off then on the car.
His was surging and after he did this, it went away.

No pic, sorry.
Im sure you know you cant even see it let alone get a camera back there.. Maybe someone else will pick up on this thread and maybe explain in better or even have a better idea or a pic even. I have just heard of them leaking back there and well, a vacum leak will cause some surging.

Not sure with the low ideling. You know you have an idle screw on the TB right? Dont know if that will help or make it worse by adjusting it. Also, it might just need some small tuning adjustment to fix that as well.. just hard to tell.

EWP's. they are rather pricey just to get a few more pony's. If you got the cash then go for it. I have heard mixed reviews. Some say they are suited better for an all out race car then a DD or a weekend warrior though.

I dont see why you didnt get a dyno run N/A after the intake, TB and the EWP though.. Thats the only way to tell how much HP you picked up.

What year and car you referring to anyhow since your sig is blank.
