This is the only visable part of my FTRA. I like it and I haven't had any problems overheating while sitting in traffic on a hot summer day.

There is a option in the installation instructions to put the FTRA in without even that part showing!

FTRA works well. Track proven to delivery the gains. Never noticed any heat soak with it, and I've never burned my hand on one in a hot car.

Maybe I'd be faster with an SSRA, I just don't think it could be measured. Might be another .01. I'm not sure that is worth having plastic rather than metal.
