Everyone keeps saying beige and brown. I've only seen pics of them, and they all look gray and red to me.

Don't like the stock look of them. I really don't like the FAST logo. I would almost take the stock color sans the logo. I painted my LS6 intake a similar silver color, so FAST color overall isn't bad IMO. If silver wasn't my theme, I'd paint it black fo' sho'.

I don't mind the way it looks. I like it. It looks a hell of a lot better then the LS6 intake that was on the car stock.

I bought mine used and it was painted red but I thought that would be waaaay too much red under the hood so I painted it again. I think it looks ok out of the box but looks better a different color. I don't like the ones that have the "FAST" shaved and painted black though...just looks like an LS1/LS6 intake to me. Why hide the fact that you own a sweet intake?

Yeah, I have never heard of plastic being powdercoated. But the charge is used when applying the powder, not during the baking at 400 + or however high for a few hours. And + 1 on that engine bay looking good too

The color doesn't bother me, but Red99TA's looks pretty badass.

If i wanted to be a sneaky street racer I would paint it and shave it etc etc, nothing on the car would look modded. I would take a grinder to the air baffles on the lid and seal shut the other spaces.

As long as its not a sticker i am more then happy to show my intake off!

I do not like advertising or decals on my car..I sanded off the FAST & the WILSON logos and painted it..to me it looks much cleaner..I was not the happy with orginal color of the intake either.

Thanks for the kind words sir...The valve cover are GMPP parts and will fit any LS series engine center bolt valve cover heads....Its a DD with 129,00 miles on it..I give it a bath under the hood about 3 times a year with degreaser and water from a low pressure garden hose ..
