Worked on the driver header today still have to get some spots on both headers im tired for tonight tho lol. After I get them both polished I need to wipe them down good and hit them with the white caulk like stuff and really bring out the shine and get all the haze off.
Lookin Good SpdFrk1990, would you mine telling me the steps/tools you've used? I got a few air tools which I think you've used by looking at the picks but Im not sure if you used regular stainless polish and buffing wheel or what. Judging by that picture above, I dont think you need to really get them anymore shined up b/c you cant really see the haze. If anything, just clean up the tops of the primaries- afterall, thats gonna be about the only thing visable when you pop the hood. Anyways, nice work. When you get your y pipe finally like me- install'em and post up some pics!!
Thanks man in person they look awesome or out in the sun ill get them looking a little better tho and get the flange better with my dremel. I was using a drill at first but started using my die grinder last night it works alot better. I started out with this eastwood buffing compound http://www.eastwoodco.com/shopping/p...iProductID=982.
I bought a kit from them it comes with all the wheels you need I could of started with the 220 compound and prob got some more imperfections out then to the 320. Then I was using some of the buffing wheels with my kit and the mothers billet polish the stuff that is 13 dollars for a little can lol. This is one of the kits I got and some of the wheels are for the polishing and some for the compounds.
