BGRA Gasket?

Those ^ are the main questions I would like answered, you can read this too if you want though.
I'm kinda excited to get back to the track this spring. I went for the first time ever this last fall and ran a 13.1@106, before debaffling my hood and doing the LS6/Ported TB swap. I'm sure I'll drop below 13 and go higher in mph, but I'm curious to see how the street compares to the track. I say that because there is one certain sign on my road (I think google earth measured up at .19 mi. from the main rd.) that when I pull off of the main road and step on it I used to get about 103-104mph as I would go by it, around the time of when I went to the track. After I did the LS6/TB swap I would get about 105-106, and then after I debaffled my hood it was about 106-107. So I'm sure I'll drop into the 12s and probably gain at least 3-4mph, so maybe somewhere from 12.9@109 to 12.8@110 I'm hoping
. What do you think?
I could close the hood with some force but I wasnt comfortable with it. So I started to trim the black gasket with a razor blade to make it thinner. It is a bitch to cut even with a new blade. It doesnt cut very easy. I did trim all of it back some. I then stopped because winter hit and the car is sitting covered in the garage.I have $50 in to this now so I will find a way to make it work when the weather gets warmer. Once I get the thickness correct I will fabricate a way to put screws thru the gasket to mount it inside the hood.
It can be done with two gaskets but you are going to have to put some thought and work into it.

Double sided tape with one laying upside down. There is a hard plastic backing on one side with two screws already there

Both ride side up............

Double sided tape on the plastic back of one gasket.....

Both stuck together with tape....this is a little too thick right now. I have since started trimming back the black gasket thickness to fit.

Small double sided tape to stick temporarily on to hood for fitment check.
Once I get the thickness correct it will be easy to mount with small sheet metal screws to the hood where the rivets were drilled out. I will finish it up in the spring. It is a perfect fit around the opening under the hood.
