Default LS1 Coil Packs???

I have 98 LS1 and im replacing the heads with 241 castings . I have the valve covers for the swap but I have 2 questions. Thanks Guys for you input.

Will 98 Coils fit 99-up coil brackets?

Where can I get brackets or a part number?

Coils should be the same, but brackets are not. Honestly, If given the chance to change heads and have to get dirfferent valve covers....I would do the coil pack relocation.

That comes with wires and brackets. Custom brackets are not cheap. Hard to find wires for less than 60$ most places. So that is about right actually. No one told you to buy it. Chill.

Yes the 98 coils will bolt onto the 99+ brackets.

I bought my brackets from SDPC, theyre a sponsor, Im sure.

I had to tap the mount holes in the brackets to accept the bolts that hold the actual coils onto the bracket, it works great.

does the 98 harness plug into each coil individually or will it plug into that central plug like the latter years?
Just wondering b/c I'm starting a project using a 98 harness and need to find coils

Chrome and Performance has the coil relocation kit for 59.95 and you buy your own wires.

Just got done relocating my wires. Put the passenger side ones where the vacuum canister was, put the driver side where the AIR pump was. It was a pain in the, but doable.

If you get the 99+ rails, the 98 coil packs will bolt to them.

Not sure they are a sponsor right now.

The coils individually plug into one harness that has a single plug that plugs into the main harness.... if that makes sense
