Yea, you should be able to. A lid is like the fundamental mod anyway.

Yeah, I already had a cat-back on my car, and didn't notice a whole lot from the cat-back itself, but when I installed the lid there was a HUGE difference, especially up top. The stock lids on these cars suck and really hold the car back.

It is mainly in your head, but I think a dyno will yield that you did gain something from it.

You got that much power from a lid? Did it come with a intake attatched to it?

once you get into high rpm's you will feel a diference, not a SOTP, but something, but i think everyone will agree that it should be one of the first mods you should do to your car!!

you cant really feel a diffrence with just the lid, but the lid helps the other mods work better... a lid should be the 1st mod on an ls1 fbody....and i love the whistle sound BTW

Personally, I didn't feel a diffrence. I definatly could hear a diffrence though. But, without a doubt should be the first mod you do.

You're going to feel alot from the headers, esp. after a good tune. A lid is the first fundamental mod IMO. I felt a little difference, but nothing that would blow you away.
