How many of you...? Run a cutout open with no cats and longtubes. Im just curious. I often find myself to afraid to open my cutout, but there have been times when Ive pulled up next to a cop or drove by one with it open and it seems as though they really dont care as long as youre not doing something stupid.
When I first installed my cam, my neighbors called the police because I had it idling at 2000 RPMs for a little while. The cop pulled up with my cutout open and hood popped and didnt care... he just proceeded to tell us all about his open header LS1 powered Sand Rail buggy.
Meh, I dunno. Anyone else running an offensively loud exhaust and not really worry about the police?

Never had any problems down here with cops. I ride with 2 other Fbodys & a Vette(duels & cutouts with cams) and we never had 1 problem; just compliments. 
But the neighbors, now thats a different story. These old bastards always call the cops when we meet at my house. They lie and tell the officer that we're racing up & down the street.
The officer doesn't mind, he just tells us to keep our cars clean and stay out of trouble.

I had that setup back when I had my stock motor, and to me it was not loud at all and I never did get hassled by police. I ditched the cutout, put on the TSP Rumbler and still have no problems even besides police cars.

i used to roll 24/7 with the cut-out open (ORY, headers, cut-out). Then i put in a cam, and it got louder lol. Shortly after we got some complaints from 1 neighbor...then about a half of a dozen others...Needless to say, cut-out is for cruises and nice days only

usually open, except when I am stopped at the light next to a cop, or I am passing by bike cops on the side of the road. I got pulled over by a cop for loud exhaust, and as he walked to my car, my finger was on the cutout switch... sure enough when he asked me to rev the car, it was quiet (hooker through catted y).. he then proceeded to saa "are you freaking kidding me? this is not the same car I pulled over".. he checked my tint, which I don't have, and let me go. 
im putting cutouts on my car! and ill drive it with them open whenever i please haha electric off course. and all my neighbors are scared of me and my brother they think we will blow their house up or something. cops only come on 4th of july we always mortars n stuff.
mines open all the time unless im on a long road trip or pulling into the townhouse community late at night. car sounds great in there though vibrating off all the houses but dont think the people would like it to much waking them up.
