Magnaflow installed on Mardi Gras

Magnaflow installed Mardi Gras morning. Kind of quiet though, close to stock.
Will it become louder once it's broken in? How about cats; gutted or high flow?

gutting the cats will help, I have magnaflow and love it with my LT's, it might get a little louder but I like mine b/c its a little more mild minus at WOT

mine was real quit when i first put it on.. its gotten louder since.... just give it time, it will sound much better

it took mine a little while to wake up. but it got louder but with no rasp and it is very tame while crusing until u get on it

give it some time

They are definitely known for being a quieter catback, but IMO, they sound great. Give it time and see if you warm up to it. If you want to make it a little louder and sound even better, add some LT headers, keep the cats. Very nice sound IMO.

I'm not a big fan of how my car sounds with the LTs/ORY and the Magnaflow. Liked the Magnaflow before the cam/heads/LTs/ORY (all at once), but now its a bit loud. I'll be adding some Magnaflow spun cats to it as soon as I get the car driveable again.

I went from no cats, SLP y pipe and Flowmaster 2 chamber to a Magnaflow muffler.

Before it was very loud and raspy, not really in a bad way though. Now it is quiter than before and the rasp is gone.
