I have had the SLP long tubes on for almost 3 years now.....never had any clearence problem to date. (you guy should perhaps write the mayor of your city and demand better roadways )

I bought my car with SLP headers ORY and LM all ready on it. They hang like an old womans breasts. Im lowered if it wasnt bad enough. I scrape on anything and everything. Even a nice dip in the road at highway speeds Ive heard them lightly scrape. I went down a decent incline leaving a P-lot and nearly ripped the whole exhaust off, now my tips are angled slightly to the passenger side. I wouldnt put it on my car if it were free. Eventually I will buy something else, but focusing my available funds towards going faster not replacing crap I already have. With all that said I think the general thought on these is dont do it.

Just had a thought,.........If your shocks are pretty old or on they're way out,.wouldn't that have a great deal to do with why you scrape on dips and what not? I mean,..if they where Good...your shocks shouldn't let you bottom out that much. ....right?

Ive got about 3" of clearance on the lowest part (ORY). The shocks were upgraded 15k miles ago. I think it has more to do with the Y and the incline of the road. Chicago isnt known for having the best roads. Im probably going to bring it back to stock height.

My car was lowered, and it was a BAD idea with the SLP's on there. I went back to stock height and they ar emuch better but will scrape on the occasional bump, which is suprising considering how beat in they are on bottom.
