Depending on what you are looking to do with your throttlebody should influence your decision on what kind of intake to use. If you go with a F.A.S.T. then you have to use their throttlebodies (they offer TB's from 80mm-90mm). I went with SLP because i wanted my engine to appear as stock as possible. I you decide to go with SLP and get a MAF sensor take the screen off to get a full 1000 CFM airflow vs 845. Since you are going through the pains of swapping intakes.....why not toss in a set of 1.7 or 1.8 ratio rocker arms too? just a thought

you can get the ls6 cooliant line and plugs from a gm dealr.heres what i done.remove the coolant lines using a pipe cutter and a double flaring tool cut the lines at each corner leaving enough for the flare get some hi temp/press 1/4" hose and make new ones.i wish i wouldve got pics before putting the intake on it looks as if it came from gm this way.you will save about 50 bucks by doing this

yeah i made my own coolant block offs from my original pipe and never had any problems . if you do have problems with it leaking it would be hard to notice on the back end since some or most would evaporate before hitting the ground .

I did the same for a friend. Cut them off, crimped the cuts, then welded the seams.
