Default Update -- Problem w/coated Pacesetters

Update to my original thread..

Cliff notes: New pacesetter header rubbed a hole in my oil filter. Pacesetter wouldn't own up and blamed everything from motor mounts to the oil pump. After testing my header in their jig and finding "nothing wrong" with it, they send me a new one.

Old header:

New header w/old oil filter:

You be the judge.

that looks much better. How could they blame the motor mounts? Even if those were faulty the headers should still not be rubbing against the oil filter. Oh well, the good thing is that you got a new header. That should make up for your frustrations. Now all you have to do is get rid of that POS oil filter.

Send that douche from Pacesetter some pics of that.

Looks like you got a fluke header before. It's rediculous that they didn't want to help you out, they only sell about 10,000 sets of those per week.

not taking sides or pass blame, but I am wondering why the person who install the header and the person who install the filter neather one saw the problem

but to be stright forward I have ran these headers for last 4 years with no filter to header problem, but I did have problem with left side banging bottom of car ,I did cut a little releaf and kink it then reweld, but back to first question,
just my rambling .02' Johnny
