Default Little Help Please

Hey guys, I just installed TR-6's the other day, they have like 200 miles on them. I lost all kinds of power earlier today, and i had the codes read and the only code that popped was random misfires. I have checked all the plugs and wires, cant check the coils that I know of, but what could it be, my car is smoking like crazy and has like no power. any ideas would help

Pull the plugs out and examine them to see if the white porcelain part is cracked. Also, while they are out you can check the gap on the plugs and make sure they are correctly gapped for your application. Another common mistake is when putting the plug wires back on, make sure they are on all the way. When I put mine back on last friday they seemed to click twice on the top when they were put on all the way.

If you got the car scanned, it should be able to tell you which cylinder(s) are misfiring, you don't want to mess around with the #8 plug if you don't have to.

Yup, they'll do it for free. They might just tell you what codes your car is throwing, but not figure out how to decode it. You can search for the codes here or find them in the database or FAQ here. Good luck.
