GMMG is the old man's exhaust... Expensive, relatively effective, and "loud enough for me" says the old man

I would say loud mouth if you want loud, Magnaflow muffler if you want FLOW and good sound.

Or just get a 4" Mufflex with a Spintech dual 3" out like me and it will sound like an old school big block once you get a cam !
GMMG isn't that much quieter than LM (it's def louder than magnaflow or any other catback) and with longtubes, cats or no cats, it's pretty loud.

but i suppose if you HAD to, i'd go GMMG, but it's like deciding if you'd rather be shot in the leg or the foot. it's not about what sounds better, but what doesn't sound as bad.
How do you know this? It's completely false. I have GMMG, longtubes, no cats, and there is a little rasp but NOTHING compared to LM. My buddy has basically the same mods as me but LM instead of GMMG and yeah, it is just "noise and rasp" but GMMG is VERY DEEP in tone and i've yet to hear another y-pipe catback setup that came close to the deep sound GMMG has. LM doesn't even come CLOSE in tone. GMMG is nowhere near "noise and rasp". where do you get this stuff from cuz it's just plain wrong.

I love my GMMG no rasp with stock manifolds and cats, heard on a car with LT's and ORY and not half as much rasp as LM. It just sound crisper IMO.

I personally like LM, of course I have that setup though. For me I want as loud as I can possibly get without cut outs. GMMG does sound very good from what I've heard so far. I have never heard GMMG in person though. I guess if you don't like alot of raspyness then LM is not the way to go, but if you do like it and want to scare the **** out of people when you fly by them then LM is by far the way to go. At least to me it is. I've flew past buddies of mine already and they say that my exhuast set up really rings their ears after I've went wot past them. But cops are always a worry with that exhaust though with an ory.

Sorry but it is WAYYYY quieter. The only way a GMMG sounds DECENT IMHO is through:

A) Stock (or extrude honed) manifolds and cats...

B) Kook's stainless steel LT's w/ory

It looks cool, and is a clean looking design but definetly not the best sound (nowhere near the worst either)... No way around it, it's CHAMBERED mufflers... It will never have a deep echo to it like most people want to hear. It will always lean towards the "Go-Kart" raspy side...

never heard the GMMG in person without cats but listening to it online, it doesnt sound much different then the loudmouth 1 with LT's and ORY. if you like either sound i would just go with the loudmouth and save money to put else where, JMO

it does, it sounds a good bit different from the loudmouth. not as raspy and more high pitched.

i have lt with ory and lm and i can't stand it.at idle sounds nice but thats it.when your at 2500 to 2900 rpms it sounds like there are little men with hammers banging inside of your exhaust.it is very loud and extremly raspy.thats why i'am looking to replace my catback.
