Default cheap headers?

What are a some decent headers that are on the cheap side? Are MAC headers any good? Also how big is the dif. between mids and longtubes HP wise?

From the link (which is a sticky at the top of this forum):

Pacesetters: Extremely popular due to there price, coated they can be had for under 400 dollars. Quality is very good for what your spending your money on, welds and collector are good. If you’re on a budget and want LT's then Pacesetters should be at the top of your list. Mid production cycle Pacesetter improved on some of the fitment issues people were having with the k-member and banging.

Mac mid length headers make pretty good power. Much better than shorties, but still not quite as good as longtubes.

I would (and did) go with longtubes

I have the flowtechs, some people hate them, but they are the same design as hooker cause they come from same company, plus they come with 02 extenders, and some other stuff. I paid 230 for mine from one of our sponsors. I haven't had any problems with them, for what its worth.

Pacesetters are gonna be your best bet. They are power worthy as well as cheap.

Coated Pacesetters are a great header. They are inexpensive, but will perform just as good as other Long Tube Headers.

I just got my Pacesetters and they look like a very good product. Now I just have to get them installed.
