Default which is quieter. bulllet or spiral flow

I'm turning circles on my exhuast. I work everyday and don't have time to go to a muffler shop to fix it. so I need something I can do in an hour or 2after work. I'm going to cut off my LM and add a bullet style muffler with a turn dwn. will the header support the muffler without hurting the headers. which is the quietest. I know there both loud but need something better than what I have. plus the rasp sucks. and I'm getting a cam on thursday
also what size inlet outlet and length

I've got the Moroso Spiral Flow on the outlet of my Rear Mount Turbo, I think its great. Car sounds so much better, and no rasp. THe muffler does come in plain steel. If you get it, I'd recommend High temp paint (the stuff you paint and then throw it in the oven for 4 hours to cure.

Default spiral flow

I just put on long tubes without cats and had a LM1 system. Above 3k rpm's sounded loud/undesireable. I had a spiral flow laying here and threw it on. At idle it is quieter. At cruise(i have 4.30 gears) it is quieter. On acceleration it is loud but knocks about 80-90% of the shitty sound away. I may try something else but for now I am happy.

I'd say spiral flow.

Why not just replace the LM resonator with the spiral flow? Why would you cut the exhaust off and hang a muffler from the y pipe?

it hangs down to low. the u bolt crimped a ring around the pipe that goes up over the axel. I can't adjust it up or down or even pull the bullet out. I have to take a sawz-all to it

Default removal

You can easily change the resonator. Remove the hanger behind the passenger rear tire(13mm nut) and get a rubber mallet and hit the exhaust backwards. It will come off
