Default Help me please

The day i had my hooker long tube headers and x pipe installed my knock sensor started setting off my SES light. I asked my mechanic why and he said there was a slim chance the back fire in the exhaust could be setting it off. has anyoe else had the problem. PLEASE HELP ME IF YOU CAN!

Are you positive that its your knock sensor? If you had true duals installed it's probably from the rear 02 sensors. It doesn't effect the way the car runs, just sets off the light. You can get the rear 02's deleted out or use 02 sims. Does the car run good?
