Default Camaro People Who Has A ........

hey all i got a k&n fipk was interested in the volant cai is there any really difference besides the k&n is sucking hot air and the volant sucks in cool air anybody using the volant?? Like it better or?? Does the volant filter have to be oiled as well like the k&n??

The Volant seals your lid to your hood basically isolating your intake from engine bay heat. And yes you have too oil the filters.

I do.
It made sense to me having that sealed box to keep the hot air out, or at least keep the temp somewhat cooler around the filter.
